The Franchise Advisory Centre was established in 2004 to provide objective information to potential franchisees and franchisors through one-on-one consulting, as well as one-to-many formats such as seminars and workshops.

Centre principal Jason Gehrke has a long involvement in franchising spanning more than 15 years, during which time he has won awards from the Franchise Council of Australia as Franchisor of the Year as well as for his Contribution to Franchising. Jason is a member of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission's Franchise Consultative Panel and is a past member of the Australian Bankers Association's Small Business Forum. He has been a guest speaker at many franchising conferences in Australia, and at international franchising events in Malaysia and France.
